February 2020. Ms. Lisa Chiu attended the Chinese New Year gathering of China Appointed Attesting Officers together with two senior lawyers of our firm.
Our firm participated in the takeover offer by China Maple Leaf Education System Limited (stock code: 1317) to privatise Kingsley Edugroup Limited (stock code: 8015), and it was announced that all conditions of the offer were satisfied on 28 February 2020.
5 October 2019. Ms. Lisa Chiu has acted as legal adviser to the Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades Limited for 5 consecutive years.
Our firm participated in the application submitted by Prosperous Printing Company Limited to transfer listing from GEM to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
15th March 2019 – Our Principal Partner Ms. Lisa Chiu was invited as a guest speaker to the Hong Kong Law Seminar organized by Shenzhen Law School and Work Committee of Luohu Lawyers.
The Seminar was held in the conference room of the National Headquarters of Promise-U Law Firm in Guangdong. The theme was ”Hong Kong’s Legal System”, introducing Hong Kong law to Shenzhen lawyers. The Seminar was held to promote and strengthen ties between Hong Kong and the Mainland. Participants received 2 legal training points.
On 24th August 2018, our Principal Partner Ms. Lisa Chiu visited the Zhuhai Ministry of Justice and met with the Zhuhai Lawyer’s Association.
